In the last years spent at my last job I spent most of my time writing stored procedures and functions in T-SQL in MS SSMS. The output JSON of these stored procedures is fed into an ASP.NET Windows Service and this service builds a webpage based this output JSON. Mostly we developed modular material tracking systems, in which I had to implement quite complicated business logic. During my career I had to learn the ins and outs of RFID, both HF and UHF, since the company is also using RFID in their portfolio. I had to test, program, design, and print RFID labels, even sometimes code special softwares to be able to print, read and write RFID Tags. This company started to deal with mobile phones, mobile terminals and handheld scanners with Android operating system. For these devices we developed an application in Xamarin, which works similarly to the previously mentioned ASP.NET engine: a JSON configuration fed into this application, that is used to build the unique screens and execute the business logics. This application communicates with a Web Service that deals with licensing and establishes the connection with the SQL database for data. In case of the mentioned ASP.NET and Xamarin applications I took part in smaller bug fixes, modifications. My task was to test the Android side of the Xamarin application (from end user, and developer side). If I found any kind of problems, malfunctions or any ways to improve the application, me and my co-worker could implement it after consulting about it with our class leader. My duties also included properly deploying complete systems and/or bug fixes to the customer’s internal servers (e.g.: Audi Hungary, Bosch Hungary, Contitech Fuel, Harman Kardon). I also received my own Bosch Hungary VPN access through the company. Keeping in touch with the mentioned companies was common in both e-mails, and through phone. In addition to system installations, there were examples for training the use of our system, and for other support activities, both in Hungarian and in English. I took part in some meetings in English and I also have a few English-speaking colleagues and bosses.
