o Spanish I, II, and Honors II Teacher integrating ACT college readiness standards in engaging, student centered, cultural and differentiated activities aligned to IEPs and different learning styles.o Department Chair leading the department to align courses to state and college readiness standards while increasing department course offerings to include Honors Spanish III.o Service Learning Coach implementing integrated Service Learning Program to the School of Leadership to include 15 different projects- 3 within the Spanish curriculum and over 2,500 student hours.o AVID Teacher designing and implementing AVID strategies to include WICR, Cornell Notes, and other powerful practices throughout the curriculum and worked collaboratively to bring AVID certification to the School of Leadership in 2010. o Instructional Leadership Team Member increasing freshmen on-track rate with the 9th grade TCT from 46% in 2nd Semester 2008-2009 to 86% in 1st semester 2009-2010.Spanish Club Director organizing a trip to the Latin District of New York City for students in the spring of 2010 to increase awareness of immigration reform and a multicultural understanding of the world.
