Performed scaled centrifuge testing and full scale pile field testing on the WindAfrica project to provide guidelines for foundations of wind turbines in unsaturated expansive soils. The project has received £1.27M from the UK’s Engineering Physical Sciences Research Council. Research collaboration between the Universities of Cambridge, Durham, Pretoria and Khartoum.

Contract management: National road rehabilitation projects and construction of pollution control dams on mines. Geotechnical investigations: Roads, bridges, quarries and reservoirs in South Africa, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia.

Designed and analysed (through finite element analysis) a multistorey concrete structure to provide settlement guidelines for modern structures.
