As a Senior Construction Site Manager, I planned and delivered major track renewals, plain line and S&C, as part of the Enhancements contract with Balfour Beatty. Working alongside the Project Manager I managed the resource scheduling, liaise with procurement and Quantity Surveyors. I also managed cost, quality, safety and production to deliver works on time to the required specification and within budget. I am a delivery driven Construction Manager and my main focus is on people, safety and innovative working methods. My key targets are to plan, implement and take ownership of safe and deliverable track renewals, liaising with the client, other stakeholders and local communities. I ensure all parties involved have a clear understanding of planned works, are aware of our expectations, understand the site rules and adopt our safety culture.
