And all good things finally come to an end! As of January 2024, I've retired as an RAF Reservist, bringing to an end an engagement that began with VR Membership of East Lowlands Universities Air Squadron in 1979, led into regular service 1981-2019, and a few year of Reserve Service to conclude. Included requirements setting and collaboration with industry and academia to enhance combat air capability, wargaming for capability development within a series of multi-national events, and delivery of space capability enhancements, principally within the RAF Space Operations Centre.

Programme Manager for a world-renowned strategic leadership course, coordinating delivery of the course with multiple high-profile external functions and events conducted within the College premises. Lectured annually to the Course on Strategic Implications of Space.

Author, contributing author and manager for multiple military doctrinal and conceptual publications supporting joint and single-service activity at the operational and strategic level. Contributor to the DCDC 'Strategic Trends' programme. Author of the UK Military Space Primer.

Worked within Embassy Chancery department to deliver militarily-aware political advice to senior diplomats. Led implementation of government-to-government information sharing agreements. Desk officer for defence academic engagement between UK and US defence colleges, including delivery of high-profile visit programmes in the USA for UK establishments.
