Moved to Houston to Join the Wood team on the Bp Atlantis MFX project.

Working closely with other Wood Discipline Managers and Quality Manager, reviewing, preparing and taking part in internal Wood and client required audits and closing out any improvements or Non-conformance issues in a timely manner. Reviewing and interrogating the weekly NPT reports, preparing readiness slides for our offshore scopes and delivering the weekly operations meeting with Wood and Bp senior management. Liaising with HSE Manager addressing any safety related issues and along with our offshore teams we have a bi-weekly onshore/offshore safety call with the asset supervision to ensure safe working practices are adhered to.Developing an excellent working relationship with my BP counterpart, communicating daily where we discuss any issues or items we believe we can improve on. Holding weekly calls with the wider BP Construction Management team, discussing and sharing any safety related issues, any similar scopes between GoM and the North Sea that both parties can benefit from. Responsible for our onshore construction teams circa 30 personnel between the Glasgow and Aberdeen offices covering Cat C, Cat B (Seagull) T&O (TAR’s and Outages) and RO (Repair Order) scopes across the Clair, Clair Ridge, Glen Lyon FPSO, Andrew and ETAP/Mungo platforms, with circa 70 offshore trades and supervisory personnel across the assets.

Establishing and managing a construction and commissioning team for Karabatan OPF and offshore D Island complex and onshore support structure within the PSNK office to liquidate 62 concurrent plant changes. Replacing seven “Flash Gas Compressors”, four off within the Karabatan OPF and three offshore on D Island with an estimated budget overall of 700 million USD.Ensuring that all work is planned and executed in accordance with project priorities and schedules as set out in the asset integrated plan (IAP). Managing, preparing and executing PSNK construction campaigns in a manner which minimises work scope durations while ensuring all PSNK construction works are carried out in accordance with RoK Legislative requirements, NCOC and PSNK polices procedures, safety and environmental requirements.

Installing a new compression Module on the existing platform which had been completed before I joined the project. Ensuring safe execution of the hook-up to the existing platform systems. Managing a limited POB to maximise offshore progress through from construction, pre-commissioning and handover to the BGTT commissioning team. Decision making, implementing the required process resulting with the best outcome. Overseeing all onshore/offshore contractors and vendors to ensure successful completion of all construction activities.

Accountable for all WGPSN global construction and commissioning activities. WGPSN Management System focal point, responsible for updating, compiling and roll out of the WPSN Global construction & commissioning procedures and associated documents from the legacy WGE and PSN Management systems.Assigned to a number of overseas reviews, establishing best practice in construction and commissioning in regional offices together with secondment into client construction and commissioning integrated teams.
