Hello. I am a serial impact entrepreneur who has been working for 30 years to help people create and take advantage of opportunities around them, and to realize their dreams. A common thread in my journey has been working for greater equity, dignity and justice in the world and I have done that through conflict resolution, humanitarian action, fintech and direct healthcare action. I am a serial Founder, having established Conflict Dynamics International in 2004 and Moja in 2019. Through each of these and other ventures, I have been working in different ways to help improve people’s lives.As CEO of Moja I am leading our innovations to develop financial technologies for group based financial collaboration, using cryptoasset and blockchain technologies. As President of Conflict Dynamics, I provide strategic direction and leadership to a well-established social impact venture working in peace action and humanitarian action, including in relation to the organization’s work in Sudan, Somalia and elsewhere. An exciting recent development is our use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to democratize access to negotiation and peacebuilding tools/resources/frameworks to enable people to participate more effectively in dialogue processes.Everything in my experience so far has only served to reinforce my passionate belief that positive change is possible in the world.
