In this role I am responsible for the commercialisation of the Clinical Assessment business of Pearson for the UK, EMEA & APAC region. Through the use of our assessments, we assist our professional customers with making the best informed decision, so their clients can make progress in their lives. Positioning us as a true knowledge partner for our customers and offering them a seamless experience in using our (digital) products is what drives us every day.

As MD, I am responsible for the general management of the clinical and talent assessment business of Pearson NL. We provide solutions (largely scientific validated tests) which are used by professionals within the fields of Mental Healthcare, Education, Speech & Language and Human Resources. To be recognized as "knowledge partner", the growth of Talentlens, our talent assessment business and the transformation into a digital first business are the main goals we focus on with some 40 very enthusiastic and driven colleagues.

Interim position during which I have helped to start up the e-commerce activities of Gsus.

As Ilse Media's Cief Operating Officer I was responsible for the sales of all websites, online marketing and the content and further development of the websites nu.nl, startpagina.nl, overzicht.nl, schoolbank.nl en weblog.nl. As member of the Management Team I had the opportunity to help mature this rapidly growing digital publishing company and it's business.

During this period acting as Chairman of STIR, an independent foundation of all online Publishers that measured traffic for all Dutch websites for the purpose of planning advertising campaigns.

As Publishing Director I managed a portfolio of 11 magazine brands, divided amongst 4 very different segments; Entertainment (Story and Beau Monde), Special Interest (Delicious and Top Sante), 50+ (Zin and Midi) en Puzzles. I have experienced this period as attractive and very dynamic with both magazine introductions as well as divestments, cost cutting measures and the necessary reorganizations.

Publisher of the Special Interest Magazines Vorsten, Story, Top Sante, TIP Culinair and Knip Mode. A portfolio with little cohesion but many challenges.

As salesmanager I have spent three fruitful years with the Home Deco cluster, leading a team that sold advertisements for magazine brands such as Eigen Huis & Interieur, VT Wonen, Living, More than Classic, Ariadne Wonen and 101. It was a real pleasure working here because of the highly motivated and driven salesteam!
