Not in any order.▶ Designed and Illustrated the album cover for Patrick Moraz of the Bands YES and Moody Blues for his Solo Christmas album “Reflections of the Season”. Mr. Moraz insisted.▶ BinaryPulse – In less than two months, I re-imaged 17 websites for their client Palace Park Entertainment after a complete redesign of the sites. The sites included all of the Raging Waters, & Wet’nWild water parks, in addition to Miami Seaquarium, Sea Life Park in Hawaii, Castle Park, and six other theme parks across the nation.▶ Taco Toaster product engineering. I designed and engineered the kitchen appliance the Taco Toaster from a mock-up made from coat-hangers and hacksawed Plexiglas. (Soon to be featured on Shark Tank).▶ AdSphere Award – DRMetrix after a year of failed attempts was unable to produce the new design of the AdSphere Award trophy, and with the awards ceremony quickly approaching, things were getting desperate. I came on board at BallPro to build BallPro's Asset Managemt system, and to develop a propriotary proofing system for the quick proofing of over 1000 custom products. The systems I designed and built allowed BallPro to close the deal with 4Imprint to provide custom printed Golf Balls, and other assorted sporting equipment.• Managed, & Coordinated the team of three remote prepress operators.• Built Customized Digital Asset Management System from the ground up.• Created a custom semi-automated proofing system in InDesign for product proofing the over 1000 items BallPro custom prints using a techique I call "Smart Images".• Color Profiled 10 custom Roland flatbed printers to print on golf balls. This was done sometimes to review for product correctness.▶ Developed Nissan’s automated process to precisely change paint hue on automotive images using pre-approved color formulas and Photoshop scripting. The #1 family owned shop in Burbank for Key Art Composition and Retouching, Color Management, & Layout Design of One Sheets, Billboards & Packaging for the TV, Movie & Entertainment industries.▶ Working side by side with the designers at Midnight Oil I composed and color matched per branding specs, One Sheets, and Standees for the movies 300, The Prestige, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many lesser known movies.

I was hired to bring Q2 up to ISO 9001 standards and create procedures so Q2 could apply for ISO 9001-2001 certification. After I completed that project I was given a new project to develop an online business card program that allowed customers to design, or upload, and order business cards online automatically populating a file for plating and once full automatically make the plates and deposit them in the press room ready for printing.

At Thoro I supervised the art, pre-press & plate departments, and when our press room manager suddenly left I filled in for several months till a another qualified manager was found.▶ Thoro was at a standstill. No plates were coming out of platemaking when I arrived. The cause of was not a single piece of software or hardware had been upgraded in many years. I was given a fire hose budget of $150k to upgrade. In three months Thoro was up to date and all my crew were trained in the new Nexus / Artpro software.▶ Managing a team of eight, I oversaw the creation and processing of client art to meet FDA requirements for Thoro’s many medical, food & cosmetic customers, under ISO 9001-2001 standards.▶ As a team we created the package that won us the 2004 PIASC Gold Award for overall packaging design, and while I did create the art on the revolving carousel, my teams input on it’s look was very much a part of the final art proving teamwork wins awards.▶ Here I earned accolades from Pantone for my work in Hexachrome. I developed an ICC profiling protocol for three six color presses allowing Thoro to be the first packaging company to use Hexachrome with hybrid screening technologies.▶ My responsibilities didn’t end with Pre-Press & Art Direction, as I was responsible for the billing, budgets and contract negotiations for both the Art and Plate Departments & I also maintained Thoro’s many graphic servers NT, OSX, Nexus RIP and our secure FTP site WebWay from Artworks systems.▶ After our press room manager left abruptly, I took over in his capacity due to my extensive past experience managing press room, bindery and die cutting departments. Responsibilities - Included overseeing timely production of camera ready art. During my employment here I greatly expanded my knowledge of the complete printing process by volunteering to work in each department as my duties allowed.

Included technical illustrations, typesetting, shooting PMTs, halftones and paste-up of newspaper ads.
