Davies Wildfire Management has been involved with contract wildland fire fighting and since 2004. Their knowledge and experience stems from thousands of hours fighting wildland fires with the Wildfire Management Branch as employees. This particular contract was with the City of Kelowna in regards to the 2017 Freshet Flood of the Okanagan Lake and it's tributaries.Hired on contract for the City of Kelowna Emergency Operations Centre, my role was Site Logistics for the sandbagging operations across Kelowna. As part of an EOC team of ~60 people organized in an ICS command structure, we supported the firefighter crews as they protected essential infrastructure with sandbag walls. In charge of Site Logistics, I kept track of supply constraints and coordinated deliveries of approximately 2 million sandbags via HIAB flatbed truck to sites across Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley.

D&M's range of services include reservoir analysis and simulation, contingent resource evaluation, geological studies and other services.My role was as part of the technical support team as System Administrator for the office environment's simulation servers, workstation desktops, and the software maintenance and troubleshooting needs. The office environment involved 30 workstation desktops, an extensive storage and backup architecture as well as walk-up troubleshooting.

The Canadian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation or CBJJF is a tournament event company based in Coldstream, British Columbia. They run high-quality Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments for youth and adults across Western Canada. My role as technical consultant is wide ranging. Most recently I helped rebuild and maintain the website cbjjf.org. I am involved in the social media marketing leading up to any event. On the days leading up to an event, I'm involved in the setup of scorekeeping, presentation and audio/visual hardware. On the day of an event, I am in charge of re-building brackets as needed, accurate results entry and terminating any technical problems we encounter.

Servall Biometrics Inc produce PatronScan, a market leading software for ID scanning, bundled with commercial-grade hardware for guest ID scanning for bars, nightclubs, pubs and event venues. My role was the sole member of the technical support team for the 450+ venues deployed with PatronScan software and hardware. I provided 24/7 on-call phone support for venues as well as liaised with Law Enforcement Officers regarding information requests. In addition, I transported and set-up ID scanning equipment for venues and events across Alberta.

Mainland Information Systems is an award winning solution provider that is owned and operated in Western Canada. They focus on providing sales, services and management of on-premise, cloud and mixed data center IT infrastructure.My role was as part of the technical sales team, assisting the storage system solutions architects with quick access to quotes and ensuring the correct hardware for each system was provided.

Together with their sister Tetra Tech companies in Canada, they provide broad and integrated services with over 4,000 employees in 50 offices across Canada.My role was part of the technical support team for the Riverbend office. We supported an office of ~200 engineers and support staff with various specialized hardware and software needs in a Windows XP and Active Directory environment.
