With over 15 years of legal experience, I am a creative and experienced business-minded attorney with an emphasis on resolving complex disputes, internal investigations and managing risks, including high-stakes matters along with legal, reputational and regulatory risks. I have substantial experience problem solving and managing/assessing risks, particularly in regulated industries related to complex commercial matters, professional liability matters, intellectual property matters, arbitration (domestic and international), biometric matters and regulatory compliance. I have demonstrated success working independently and collaborating with a team. I thrive working in fast-paced and high-pressure environments, and have the composure and disposition to effectively lead, strategize and prioritize competing tasks in such environments.In addition, I am passionate about promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) in the legal profession. I have served in a variety of leadership roles, including as the US Deputy of DEIB and Executive Director of Diverse Recruiting at Reed Smith LLP, where I developed and implemented strategies to attract, retain, and advance diverse talent. I currently actively participate and promote DEIB at Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP. I also hold a diversity and inclusion certificate from Cornell University, and I am actively involved in mentoring and sponsoring diverse lawyers and law students.
