About Ghada Nouby

I studied computer science in Helwan university 2002-2006, and worked in the IT field for about 9 years. While working as a database administrator in We telecommunications corp., I began studying language and translation in Cairo Open University, as the first step of shifting my career. Now I am a translator of almost 8 years of experience, along with my experience in IT, which is pretty helpful in localizing software/websites or when dealing with IT-related texts and which has proved handy in learning and coping with the translation technologies (e.g., CAT tools, MTPE, AI) relatively easily and quickly.Additionally, I've obtained an MA degree in linguistics and plan to pursue the academic studies to have a PhD degree in translation.

I had also been participating in a huge educational project for more than a year, translating hundreds of pages for students in junior school years.
