During a dynamic rotation spanning departments such as Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Audit and Compliance, Accounting, and IT, I gained valuable experience in the diverse aspects of the insurance industry. This experience provided me with invaluable hands-on knowledge and insights into the multifaceted of each department's operations and responsibilities. Through a thorough observation and analysis, I identified synergies among departments, fostering streamlined operations and various other processes. Moreover, I honed my understanding of the insurance and financial services sector by engaging with a range of operational tasks that drive organizational success. Leveraging IMS 3.1 General Accounting Module (GAM), I efficiently managed the accounting database, ensuring accuracy in client information, insurance duration, and amounts. Additionally, I optimized data accessibility and retrieval speed by compiling information into Excel sheets, facilitating seamless coordination with the accounting department.

During this extensive internship program, I gained practical experience across diverse departments, including Operational, Commercial, Retail Risk, Back Office, International Banking, and Risk Management. This opportunity provided me with hands-on experience in various tasks such as cash transactions, client account creation, risk management, and international banking operations, offering practical insights into the daily workings of the banking industry. Through this experience, I developed a keen understanding of the connection of different departments and the overall functioning of a financial institution, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the banking industry and added operational skills.

This course provided an immersive introduction to entrepreneurship, encompassing team organization, business idea selection, capital raising, business plan preparation, marketing, and sales. Participants received mentoring from experienced volunteers to refine their business concepts. The culmination of the program was the Young Entrepreneurs Competition (YEC), where the Best Company Award winner represented Lebanon at the regional Young Arab Entrepreneurs Competition organized by INJAZ Al-Arab, competing against winners from 14 Arab countries within the INJAZ network.

In the summer of 2019, I interned at Spacesetters, a prominent design, contracting, and management company. This opportunity significantly enhanced my skills and comprehension of business operations. It facilitated the refinement of my communication abilities and my basic abilities in utilizing programs such as CAD. Additionally, it provided me with valuable insights into the responsibilities of architects. Furthermore, I had the privilege of engaging in discussions with the CEOs, gaining valuable insights into company management and the essential skills necessary for entrepreneurial endeavors.
