SENIOR TEST DIRECTOR - CREW TRAINING (2013-2020)* Technical expert and project manager, planner and conductor of hazardous manned and unmanned thermal and thermal vacuum/altitude test operations, including astronaut Extravehicular Activity (EVA) training at the JSC Crew and Thermal Systems Division.* Conduct reduced pressure, in-suit EVA astronaut training with flight procedures for nominal and contingency operations, exercising ultimate responsibility over astronaut/test subject health, performance and safety.* Manage personnel, schedules, forecasts, progress and budget, of long term/large scale projects.* Prepare and author numerous kinds of documentation, such as detailed test procedures, training materials (for crew and test team members), presentation materials, test rules and Test Readiness Review packages.* Extensive experience briefing and training crew members in classroom settings, as well as simulators (i.e. thermal chambers) and hazardous test operations.* Train and mentor junior test directors in facility operations, space suit usage and astronaut training operations, and recommend any additional training to assure proficiency prior to certification. SECTION MANAGER - ENERGY SYSTEMS TEST AREA (2012-2013)* Led and managed a team of approximately 25 people (engineers, test directors, technicians) in multiple facilities within the Energy Systems Test Area compound in the Johnson Space Center * Developed training and certification packages for section personnel, including test directors, engineers, and technician positions.* Established daily work priorities and resource assignments, direct the engineering and technical staff, and resolve schedule and resource issues as they arise* Responsible for evaluating direct reports' performance* Recommended any additional training to assure proficiencyTEST DIRECTOR - (2005-2012)
