I am an attorney with experience litigating in state and federal courts, including thorny jurisdictional and procedural issues. My practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property litigation, closely held business disputes, and both personal and business tort and contract claims; healthcare provider and institution related litigation and compliance; creditors’ rights in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts; and responding to government investigations.Before law school, I was an infantry squad leader in the United States Marine Corps. During law school, I worked as a legal intern for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Upon graduation I clerked in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and subsequently worked as an associate attorney in North Carolina where I focused on complex commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense, product liability, class actions, and intellectual property litigation. I am licensed to practice law in Connecticut and North Carolina.
