Within CEB SHL Talent Measurement is focussed on maximising the potential and performance of people to drive business success.Central Professional Services at CEB SHL is a centre of excellence, approximately 80 people strong, tasked with designing, delivering and implementing custom talent management solutions for CEB’s clients globally. These solutions utilise the combined power of product and best practice research to identify, recruit, retain and develop the very best talent to achieve a client’s strategic objectives.Responsibilities Include: • Ownership of Professional Services Product life-cycle from identifying opportunities for developing scalable products through design, development and roll out.• Managing existing portfolio of products and services to ensure these keep pace with evolving market demand.• Using sales and operational data on the performance of our portfolio to inform product enhancements and business strategy.• Gathering and disseminating best practice product guidance, technical expertise and training.• Leading and developing my own team, several matrixed reports, as well as being a leading expert for the wider business on our products and services.• Member of functional leadership team (function is circa 90 strong).

The purpose of this role was to establish and lead a new team (reporting to The Chief Scientist) to design, build and role out a differentiated 'Big Data' product from SHL’s vast array data on people and talent. The resulting product suite draws on an unparalleled set of assessment data assets and provides benchmarking capability to inform strategic talent decisions at some of our largest global clients.This role involved:- Working with clients in pilot studies to focus product requirements on market demand.- Analysis of BI data around associated product usage to frame design and strategy.- Working with BAs, database architects and developers via Agile process to scope and develop the product.- Design of the reporting outputs and delivery methodology.- Working directly with stakeholders up to C-suite level.- Lead role in training and roll out to the business. - Significant contribution to numerous launch events, industry conferences and marketing pieces.

- Design and delivery of industry leading psychometric assessments for use in talent selection and development for both SHL product portfolios and bespoke client solutions.- Industrialising test design and delivery processes to minimise cost while ensuring quality, including the delivery of 1500 SJT items to a major European client.- Assessment trial process design and management, data collection and data analysis including the application of item response theory to design predictive talent assessments.- Documenting and providing training to colleagues.- Contributing to successful proposals for client contracts to meet tight deadlines.- Project management including project planning and reporting within framework of established project management process, as well as management of suppliers and reports.
