Gideon is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience working with commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and development agencies on financial inclusion, livelihoods and inclusive business projects. He is skilled in designing and managing inclusive financial and business systems in creating sustainable economic linkages for marginalised segments from mainstream economic systems. He has coordinated and led teams for sensitizing and mobilizing stakeholders in designing, planning, and implementing impactful programs for economic growth and financial inclusion. Gideon successfully led the initiatives in mobilising financial resources of over USD 19 million from development agents that enhanced rural financial outreach programs of CRDB Bank PLC and CRDB Bank Burundi SA through a countrywide network of bank agents, affiliate grassroots microfinance institutions, Service Centers & mini-service Centers and mobile branches. He has managed capacity-building and training programs for Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCOS), Agricultural Marketing Cooperatives (AMCOS) and other grassroots institutions serving the under-served at the bottom-of-the-pyramid in remote and rural Tanzania.He is a certified professional trainer, assessor of training programs, TOT trainer, and a trained life coach. Throughout his career, he has supervised, designed, developed, and facilitated training and coaching programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of people serving the low-income market segments. Additionally, Gideon is an accomplished strategic and business planning professional.For 18 years of his career, Gideon has played a crucial role in promoting inclusive financial and business systems to economically marginalized communities.
