PhD thesis title: ‘Mechanistic insights into the regulation of RIPK4 and its function in skin homeostasis and pathology’During my PhD project I investigated molecular signaling pathways controlling skin development, homeostasis and tumorigenesis. I focussed on molecular mechanisms post-transcriptionally regulating the kinase activity of RIPK4 during the process of keratinocyte differentiation using in vitro and in vivo models. The tumor suppressive functions of RIPK4 were studied in a clinically relevant genetic skin cancer mouse model.
