Generated ideas, completed interviews, and wrote original articles on topics ranging from car care to bridal to home improvement, resulting in nine to eleven newspaper supplements each year. Wrote several newspaper features including: $600,000 Safe Haven Project," and "Vermont Disability Awareness Day" as well as several personal essays such as "Summertime's Here, Now Where's The Easy Livin'?" Also, proofread, prepared copy for layout, typeset, and offered occasional support work to produce a weekly newspaper on deadline, requiring strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Provided the foundational content for an innovative Internet portal, targeting third-party recruiters. Linked to topical news features, wrote articles, headlines, and general overviews on career sites, recruitment automation, compensation, and human resources. Aggregated and managed the initial data on 150 companies and applicant trackers through telephone interviews and Web searches. Assessed the products based on their operating platforms, features, and functions. Abstracted this material and generated Web page overviews and relevant articles. Additional tasks included keeping content fresh, mining new recruitment sites, abstracting, editing, and providing material for several bi-monthly newsletters.
