Job Developer/Employer Relations Specialist
Current-Job coaching, mentoring and assisting job seekers from various broad backgrounds as well as complex barriers-Recruiting, screening, assessing program participants, and determining eligibility of Job Development Services-Developing an action plan that details the activities the Client will undertake in order to achieve work placement-Facilitating workshops that are employment related topics to increase readiness for the Clients-Arranging interviews and supporting the Clients at job interviews as required as well as negotiating job terms and conditions-Assisting the client and employer to resolve issues that may impact the Client's ability to maintain employment-Marketing specific clients to specific employers for direct job placement including, volunteer, part-time and full-time paid employment placements, job shadowing, informational interviews, and work experience placements such as Wage Subsidy-Building partnerships with employers, community agencies, and other stakeholders in creating a positive link between employment services and the community at large-Organizing and attending job fairs, info sessions, networking events, community events, and local business associations both in person and virtually to create opportunities for employment
