I currently serve the Embassy of Ghana in France as a Programme and Research Officer for Multilateral Relations, more precisely the Ghana Delegation to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). My work essentially relates to providing assistance in Ghana's representation in both organisations such as meeting attendance (inter alia, UN General Assembly, UNESCO Executive Board Session, UNESCO African Group Plenary Meetings, Intergovernmental Council Sessions, Meetings of the Permanent Council of la Francophonie), drafting of recommendations, reports, briefs, talking points and concept notes, oral and written translations (notably during UNESCO African Group Meetings including Ambassadors, translation of Her Excellency the Ambassador's Speeches), and more importantly participation in deliberations on a series of political, legal and socio-economic issues relative the United Nations.

Besides my work in as an Administrative Assistant for Multilateral Relations, I also assist H.E. the Ambassador of Ghana to France in Ghana's bilateral relations with French political, economic, academic and cultural actors. I notably took part in the preparation of the official State Visit of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama to France together with a Ghanaian presidential and buisness, municipal and academic delegation. I took part in the edition of a bilingual brochure (English-French) to present the one week State Visit and inter alia political, business and academic, profiles (data collection, writing of articles in both languages, planning and assistance in the graphic design). As a representative of the Embassy, I managed the buisness, municpal and academic delegation's movements during their visit in France (Dassault Systemes, UNESCO, OECD, Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Bordeaux, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Mairie de Bordeaux). This first State visit resulted in a return Investor Trip in Accra, Ghana, in February 2016 where I essentially served as a liaison officer between the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and the French Delegation, precisely the Club Entreprises Bordeaux Afrique (CBSOA) and the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Bordeaux, the Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux in representation of the Municipality of Bordeaux, as well as the French energy company, ENGIE. My work also entailed the drafting of briefs, oral and written translation (notably translation between Ghanaian and French counterparts during B2B meetings) and management of the delegation's movements on the ground.My services in bilateral relations also entail organisation of events such as the Salon du Chocolat as a project manager, as well as assisting Her the Ambassador in specific projects, elaboration of a database, drafting of the annual report, meetings with private actors and institutionals, and representations in formal invitations.
