DRS LLC is a Senior Management Advisory Group that was founded in 1997 by a group of successful retail executives to help retailers and consumer product companies worldwide achieve success using the guiding principles and processes they used as retailers.

As a Manager and Director at Walmart, I was responsible for all areas of systems development, including customer relations, project management, system construction, and operational support.* Led the team in multiple international chain acquisitions, including Cifra in Mexico, Asda in the UK, and Seiyu in Japan. For these acquisitions my area was responsible for merging the Item Catalog information from the acquired company into Wal-Mart systems.* Completely rebuilt the Item Catalog systems for both Walmart and Sam’s Club, which is the foundation for buying and selling merchandise. Improved the accuracy, timeliness, and flexibility of the information, allowing the buying and inventory associates to make solid business decisions.* Implemented a carton-scanning system for Logistics. This system automatically collected carton scans from the sorter, eliminating human intervention previously required to manually scan the carton. This saved the company millions of dollars in payroll and improved the accuracy of store invoices from warehouses.* Managed the initial Database Administrator team the implemented the Teradata Data Warehouse platform. This involved building and loading the data structures needed to support the introduction of RetailLink. At this time, Both Teradata and RetailLink were unknown to the retail industry, and now are highly used by Walmart suppliers to have insight into sales, inventory, and pricing information about their products. It was an absolute game changer in how suppliers and retailers can collaborate to improve each other’s business.
