LSTM is a charity that has recently obtained HEI status currently undergoing a period of growth and change. The role was responsible for all recruitment activity across the UK, Africa and South America, reviewing and implementing more efficient processes in preparation for the introduction of a candidate tracking system.Key Achievements.• Increased hires by over 100% within 2 months and maintained this throughout the contract• Developed recruitment MI to provide timely and accurate information to support the business with:o Grant applicationso Work allocationo Audits• UK Border Agency – conducted a full audit to ensure compliance of all recruitment and personnel files in readiness for UKBA audit. Experienced in hiring migrant workers, raising Certificates of sponsorship and ensuring UKBA compliance throughout the recruitment process for all vacancies

Management of all recruitment activity within Industrial Technologies, including direct recruitment and use of 3rd party suppliers. Initially providing cover for the Talent Partner and then supporting the launch of the Talent Acquisition Team.

•Developed strong relationships within the business and key interface between Business Leaders, Function Leaders, HR Business Partners, hiring managers and external suppliers•Partnered with the business leaders/directors to identify potential recruitment challenges and future requirements and built resourcing plans to address these•Resourcing Lead on the HR project to harmonise T&Cs following the Britannia merger. Responsible for ensuring contracts, candidate correspondence and processes all fit for purpose for launch date and the department fully briefed. Concurrently initiated the centralisation of all Britannia recruitment, previously devolved to line managers.•Successful management of a team of 8 resourcing advisors and resourcers •Introduced cost effective initiatives to improve the recruitment offering, increasing direct hires by 38% in 6 months, saving circa £60,000 this was without the benefit of a candidate tracking system.•Managed the end to end recruitment process for all senior hires post Britannia merger, improving the on-boarding process both for the candidate and the Business. Identified an anomaly with their pension offering resulting in significant cost savings to the business•Managed significant campaigns in both IT and Change Directorates (50+ roles in each) and made considerable cost savings utilising a microsite and licensed candidate tracking system, in house.•Collate, analyse and report management information, ensuring business efficiencies are met and areas for improvement identified - reduced rejection rates for contractor employment screening by 25%
