In 1991 Gillian managed 3 Dublin Clubs including the Gasworks Comedy Club & organised the first ever Irish Comedy Festival, the Liffey Laugh. She worked with such acts as Eddie Izzard, Lee Evans, Jack Dee and Jo Brand. A few years later she was headhunted to run a theatre and brought in such acts as The Cranberries, Boyzone and the lovely Dermot Morgan (Fr Ted). She then took the plunge and travelled across the water to London where various music Industry jobs followed including, Virgin Records, AM/PM Records and working as Assistant to the Music Business Advisor at the Musicians Union, then she went onto Legal Affairs at Granada Television.She has since moved to Hastings and started her own Comedy Night called Stand Up which has been voted the best Comedy Night in the South East.
