I have recently completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology at Acadia University, finishing my degree as a University Scholar. Over the course of my undergrad and along with my work and volunteer experience, I have gained many valuable skills. I am an enthusiastic and positive individual who works well in team environments. I am a strong communicator and an active listener. Working as a TA as well as camp counsellor, provided me with the ability to actively listen and adapt the ways in which I communicate to best serve my student's and camper's needs. I am very detailed oriented and efficiently complete tasks in a timely manner.  I love working in fast past environments and thrive in high stress situations. Working as a camp counsellor, I was able to develop strong adaptability to any given situations that arise. I have strong problem solving and conflict management skills. I also have gained valuable research experience in a lab setting from fulfillment of my honours thesis at Acadia University. Skill set from research experience includes, but not limited to: strong literature search skills, protein extraction techniques, concentration determination techniques, and 1-D gel electrophoresis.
