Director at Creative City, a commissioning and consulting company concerned with art in the built environment.Creative City completed the massive "Haggerston Stones" public art commission for L&Q housing association and the Local Management Association. We commissioned stone sculptor Bobbie Fennick to select and carve stone monoliths with motifs which had meaning for local residents. Haggerston underwent a huge regeneration project and the public art was meant to help residents feel a sense of ownership and belonging.Creative City commissions and produces public art - both temporary and permanent - including art exhibitions, events and relational projects as well as acting as consultant on a variety of projects. As well as commissioning and consulting, I commission and manage visual documentation for all of Creative City's work, including documentary films, podcasts and photo-essays.Projects include the Newspaper House in London and Liverpool Bienniale, the Sharjah Biennial of Children's Art (which won an Honourable Mention), the Haggerston Stones and the Videospecs project.
