I work with Devon Artist Network to raise the profile of the organisation and its members. Open Studios is the organisation's flagship event, which takes place in September each year. I promote the arts in Devon through the media and help members to raise their profile through training events.

I get stories in the news, publicise events, raise the profile of organisations, create a buzz online and make videos and other online content. I run training for arts and cultural organisations and individual artists. I also develop audiences, organise events, coordinate and produce engaging arts programmes across South West England and nationally.Since setting up Gillian Taylor PR, I have worked with a range of clients in arts culture and heritage, including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Somerset Art Works, Devon Open Studios, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Arts Health & Wellbeing, Bath and North East Somerset Heritage Services, Pavilion Dance SW, Art & Energy, Significant Seams and CEDA (Community Equality Disability Action). I’m passionate about communicating things that interest and excite me, and love working with artists and cultural organisations to raise the profile of what they do.

I'm working with CEDA to oversee the delivery of 'Total Immersion'. Working with more than ten artists over two years, the project is using sound, space and touch to create immersive sensory experiences for CEDA’s members and other disabled people.I'm also continuing my PR role with CEDA, raising their profile through the media and other communications. CEDA is an independent registered charity and not-for-profit company limited by guarantee which provides learning and social opportunities to disabled people in Devon.

I worked with RAMM to develop audiences and raise the profile of this award winning museum. This included raising the museum's profile in the media, creating online content and making a film of glass artist Steffen Dam. I project-led the museum's 150th anniversary celebrations, which included two exhibitions, a book and the Carnival of the Animals event, which attracted almost 37,000 to Exeter for a one-day event.

London And National

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Arts, Health and Wellbeing brings together Peers and MPs with a shared interest in the field of arts and health. In June 2017, the report of an Inquiry into arts, health and wellbeing will be published. The report aims to influence decision makers including Ministers and officials, the NHS, Public Health England and local authorities, healthcare staff, artists and arts organisations.The Inquiry report will present the findings of two years of evidence gathering, roundtables and discussions with service users/expert patients, health and social care professionals, artists and arts organisations, academics, policy makers and parliamentarians from all parties and both houses.
