Peter, author of "West Meets East: Understanding Chinese Speaking Societies," combines his deep knowledge of Chinese culture with extensive expertise in procurement, finance and academia. Having held pivotal roles in the Offshore Wind, Mining, and Oil & Gas industries, Peter is dedicated to advancing collaborative strategies that address global challenges in Water, Energy, Sustainability, and Health. His experiences living in Shanghai and Taipei have provided him with nearly fluency in Mandarin Chinese and a nuanced understanding of cross-cultural dynamics, making him a valuable asset in international contexts. Currently, Peter is engaged in the research project "Changing Perspectives: Towards Conditions for Sustainable EU-China Collaboration" as an independent consultant, and he welcomes opportunities to explore how his insights and experience might contribute to new and exciting challenges.
