Project Manager
CurrentProject Manager responsible for projects in several telecommunications providers in Latin America and Caribbean, managing projects with high complexity such as Network transformations, Peering/Access/Call Center SBCs implementations, Media gateways and SS7 deployments, hardware expansions and software upgrades in multiple NGN/TDM live switches.Responsibilities:• Responsible for project deployments and critical activities/network changes for large and complex networks.• Follow Operations strategy in order to meet or exceed revenue target, keeping projects triple constraint planned costs, quality and time.• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers, partners and fellow employees through clear metrics and timely engagement/feedback.• First point of contact to address any customer concern/requests, driving customer feedback into internal functional/management teams and setting up actions to address it.• Keep a clear/concise communication, and overall PM process discipline as per PMI best practice around all project life cycles.• Ensure projects scoping definition accuracy, monitoring and controlling any scope deviation considering company and customer needs.• Responsible for time and cost estimating, monitoring and applying corrective actions once necessary, keeping product/deliverables quality.• Manage projects/program risks and issues applying PMI risk analysis/assessment and mitigations methodology, applying corrective actions to resolve if required.• Prime project team building and virtual team leadership for accountable deliveries, leading across the team on World Class delivery aspirations.• Provide support and track projects considering strategic and business goals, interfacing with internal teams, customers, suppliers, vendors and partners, ensuring all impacted stakeholders understand, engage and commit to deliverables planned.
