Lead a department in support of 260 employees across 45 states, working within complex California employment law. Manage all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, benefit programs, employment law compliance, record retention, employment practices, worker compensation, and safety. Lead performance management programs, including conducting job analysis and annual salary surveys. Develop, recommend, and implement company-wide policies and procedures. Highlights Include:- Employee Development - Developed, implemented and managed the new quarterly performance evaluation and review program utilized by 60+ managers and creating a consistent approach with built-in business unit flexibility. - Knowledge Management - Identified an employee utilization gap and developed/facilitated quarterly HR focused workshops that greatly improved employee connection, knowledge, and increased healthy utilization (i.e., accrual, benefits, leave, etc.).
