I was the solution architect and lead technician on the project. The optimisation generated 50B risk values for electrical network assets. The risk values were passed via data integration to an investment management system used by 500 people to manage the investment lifecycle. I defined and drove the solution architecture, designed integration and data warehousing solutions, collaborated with SaaS vendors, prototyped risk algorithms, supervised Data and Integration Engineers, and modelled the silver and gold layers of the Data Lakehouse. The project is in the implementation phase, utilising Databricks, function apps, APIs, and Azure Data Share.> Solution Architecture: - Defining and driving the solution and integration architecture through approval phases. - Designing the overall conceptual and technical solution (application, data management, data modelling, data integration, and data Lakehouse). - Collaborating with multiple SaaS vendors for design, implementation, and integration. - Liaising with internal stakeholders and data stewards. - Prototyping risk and forecasting algorithms based on network reliability engineering specifications.> Team Leadership - Provided high-level and detailed designs and supervised Data and Integration Engineers.> Data Modelling - I modelled the core, semantically integrated enterprise and dimensional models for asset, risk, and investment domains targeting the Databricks Lakehouse medallion architecture.
