About Gina John

My transition to Software Engineering is driven by my desire to continue doing what I love doing- interpreting languages and ideas while finding solutions to challenging and engaging problems. While I have the technical skills necessary to excel as a software engineer, including programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, the skills and experiences from my professional experiences make me an excellent communicator and collaborator. My passion is to make a lasting impact on the individuals I come into contact with, both personally and professionally. When I am not working on personal projects, I love to play with my two rescue pups and volunteer at Sunday Lunchbox, an Austin based non-profit committed to fighting food insecurity in Austin (let me know if you want to get involved!).
