About Ginger D
I was in Business to Business sales for eight years with various fortune 100 and 500 companies prior to having children. While raising my children, I owned a telemarketing company for ten years setting up appointments for B2B sales representatives for clients in businesses of manufacturing, insurance and mergers/acquisitions. When my children were in elementary school, I sat on four PTO executive boards as president and vice-President for Wadsworth City schools. During this time, I started an annual student Health Fair for one of the elementary schools partnering with The Medina County Health Department. In 2013, I joined UnitedHealthcare Community Plan (a Medicaid provider) as a Relationship Specialist in the Marketing Department. During my second year, I was presented a certificate award for Relationships. Still in marketing, I transitioned to UnitedHealthcare Medicare and Retirement in 2019. In February, 2020, I was presented a certificate award for Innovation for developing a program that was used statewide by my peers. Through my various roles, I have experience in event planning, fundraising, Public Relations, community outreach, community health education, marketing, B to B sales, public speaking, business owner and much more. I have my Accident and Health insurance license from the Ohio Department of Insurance. I am certified in Emergency Management for FEMA. I served on the Board of NAMI Summit and was Chair of the Public Relations and Marketing Committee for over six years. I am currently on several committees in various counties. I’m proud to have worked for a company that is a subsidiary of UnitedHealthGroup, a Fortune 6 company for eight years. I am now thrilled to be working for AmeriHealth Caritas OH! In my free time I love to study nutrition (a hobby of mine) and work out. I have a blast spending time with my husband and two children. My hobbies include hiking and riding bikes.
