I work in the Water Systems Strengthening department at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the world’s largest humanitarian network. The IFRC coordinates and supports national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in delivering humanitarian assistance and promoting disaster resilience worldwide. Our department focuses on improving the capacity, sustainability, and resilience of water services, addressing systemic challenges to ensure that communities have reliable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.I am also a Master of Science student in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nova School of Business and Economics, where I apply entrepreneurial thinking and skills to create positive social and environmental impact through my brand, Barra Concept. My core competencies include new business development, partnerships, and strategic communications.In my current role, I work with a team of passionate and diverse professionals to plan, implement, and monitor WaSH projects in various countries, such as Ethiopia, Uganda, and Nepal. I also contribute to the organization's fundraising, advocacy, and awareness-raising activities, leveraging my skills in new business development and strategic communications. I am motivated by the vision of Viva con Agua to empower people to access their human right to water and sanitation, and I aspire to bring my innovative and entrepreneurial mindset to the team and the organization.
