In the preparatory phase, at the headquarters, I deal with the coordination of the 40+ Functional Areas involved in the development of the project, according to the IOC guidelines, and in planning the venue and the event according to milestones which involve the development of increasingly detailed versions of the Operational Plan and field tests. In Games Times I will be responsible for the operation and perfect success of the Olympic event (15 Olympic Medal Events and 38 Paralympic Medal Events), coordinating a workforce of 1500 people and welcoming 15000 spectators every day.

As head of the Operations Department, reporting to the Operations Director Southern Europe, I am responsible for the corporate EBITDA. Management of operating expenses and revenue maximization of each production unit (50 multiplexes). The 4 Area Managers of the Company report directly to me and the 150 managers and over 1200 employees who work in the cinemas report indirectly to me. I coordinate the headquarters staff of the Operations Department, including the technical staff who take care of the projection booths as well as the one who takes care of the authorization and maintenance aspects. I maintain relations with international colleagues from the other countries that are part of the group, in terms of sharing Best Practices and meetings coordination.

Responsible for maximization of Area EBITDA through:Retail revenue control and cost control; check of the level of customer service given inside the cinemas, staff management, control of operating expenses, verification of the application of company procedures and compliance with current regulations (Haccp, Safety & Security)

Management of commercial relations with suppliers, development of the product range and pricing strategy, area profit analysis
