From 2014, during spare time, I occasionally work as a consultant for the design and manufacture of injection moulded products and their moulds, exclusively in fields other than construction. > I help customers “to make it right first”: providing consultancy how to properly design plastic parts and their moulds to minimize defects and get a stable production process, resulting in shorter time-to-market and money savings.

Responsible for the definition and the results of the 2 core processes concerning Products Development (from ideation to series production) and Production Control (optimized production and quality control). Responsible for for decision-making and support activities related to IP (patents, models, trademarks).Supervisor of the support & customer service, processing sites feedback and market analysis by product management to define and promote business development strategies. Sponsor and supervisor for cross-functional projects and programs.Co-responsible for setting company’s targets, developing new business models and monitoring results.Responsible for setting and controlling the annual budget/forecast for the technology area (projects, expenses and investments, payrolls) and co-responsible for the overall company’s budget definition and controlling of the P&L.Hierarchy responsible for the Technology area’s collaborators, in collaboration with HR, I plan and monitor the development and career paths supporting the personal growth. > Shaped the strategy “2.0” (after start-up phase), including the organizational change from silos to circular structure, from dept. to processes, with limited hierarchy to spread responsibility among resources > Promoted lean and performance mgmt. culture, also by implementation of digital tools and indicators for monitoring, controlling & forecasting > Active push and support of business development actions in Asia > Fast reactivity while designing and adopting new business models > Savings generated via in-sourcing of few production activities, and tax break via patent box

Start-up the company (from a technological point of view) setting-up and then managing the technical and quality dept. activities (IT as well ad interim), choosing collaborators (from 2 to 8) and developing their skills and responsibilities. Responsible and project manager of products development projects and its production, responsible for the activities from conception to production, considering design aspects, monitoring and controlling it through project management activities and tools (budget, time, costs and prices estimation and verification), scouting, negotiating and choosing the business partners to involve (raw materials producers, tool-makers, inj.moulders in Italy and overseas both), leading the tools and the PPAP (mould trials, lab and field tests management), the production and quality documents for the series production to ensure targets, as well as complaints management.Supervisor of IT activities and responsible for relative employee. > Developed the growing team + structured working environment and tools based on increasing requirements > Brought polymers expertise to the group and defined internal relative standards > Co-developed ad hoc compounds, collaborating with RM suppliers > 30+ product dev. projects, 250+ articles, 150+ moulds > Scouting, negotiation & development of 50+ business partners worldwide network (EU, Asia, North and South America) > Co-started-up productions by 15+ suppliers (also oversea) and defined QC protocols > Set-up the quality mgmt. (ISO9001:2015) & assurance systems and remote monitoring of its results > Heavily contributed to company’s growth from 0 to 35m€ turnover

Responsible for the elaboration of new concepts and design of new polymer products for the formwork industry using 3D CAD modelling, FEM structural analysis, processability simulations for injection moulding with Moldflow, co-design of moulds, realization of prototypes & laboratory tests. Responsible also for the collaborations with universities and external research partners. > Developed from scratch 2 fresh graduated technicians into plastic product designers > Participated to the presentation of expertise, products concepts and preliminary results showing a big potential and opportunity for engineered polymers in building industry, leading to the decision of starting the newco “Polytech” in joint-venture with PERI GmbH.

Pre- and post-sales activities for Autodesk® digital prototyping software, in particular Moldflow®, Inventor® and Mechanical Simulation® training and support of customers in the field of design with plastics and injection moulding for many sectors (automotive, aerospace, mobile, consumer, medical, etc.).>Main result had been the increase of customer base and their satisfaction through professional, exhaustive and prompt trainings and supports.
