Overall responsibility of Product Management function for SKF India bearings business. Member of Leadership Team responsible for driving the overall product strategy, innovations, manufacturing and engineering footprint across product lines.

Responsible for SKF Global Product Engineering delivered from Technical Centre, Bangalore encompassing Mechanical, Electronics & Mechatronics Competences in all SKF product lines. Also responsible for Facility Maintenance, Infrastructure Projects & External Partnerships in Engineering Services domain.A core member of tactical/strategic team responsible for conceptualising, developing, implementing & delivering to the success of Knowledge Engineering vision of the SKF Group;

The Global Technical Centre is a Brown-Field project at an existing campus at Bangalore. The establishment of a Technical Centre was concurrently undertaken by SKF Executive Board at Bangalore, India & Shanghai, China under the stewardship of SKF Group Innovation Board Programme Office. This board is under the chairmanship of SKF Group President & CEO.The key deliverable of this assignment is to implement & realise the mission objectives developed towards the establishment of Technical Centre at Bangalore. The Programme Steering Committee & Senior Group Management Committee provided governance to this phase of the project.

I joined ACE Designers Limited, India's largest CNC Turning Centre Manufacturers at a time when the preparations were ongoing for ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification along with Manufacturing capacity augumentation project to cater to growing demands from Auto component manufacturers riding the auto industry boom. The corporate culture demanded entrepreneurial zeal in discharging ones duties. My key contributions in such an work environment were :1. Development of Quality Assurance Manual (apex manual);2. I joined Buhler India in a Green-field stage & has been involved in all operational areas - Projects, Production Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Quality Control & Quality Assurance. The experience gave a good grounding on operations hands-on. The key contributions were mainly in Process Definition, Validation & Change/Risk Management - within Project & Quality Management System.
