CurrentCoordinate computer usage with school staffInvestigate and troubleshoot hardware and software problemsAbility to use procedures and techniques in the implementation of computer programsEnsure computers, appropriate software, and databases are operational in order to support theinstructional program.Serve as the school’s technology “help desk” by investigating and troubleshooting hardware andsoftware problems; report any or unresolved issues to the Technology Service Office. Instruct staff and students on troubleshooting methods used to correct problems.Monitor computer usage; report computer usage violations (based on district policies) to the appropriate administrator(s).Maintain school server(s) and ensure server(s) are operational including services, back-ups, and user profiles/accounts/directories/passwords.Maintain a variety of records; user profiles/accounts/directories/passwords, hardware and software inventory, and licenses.Install computers, peripheral equipment, O/S images, and software as required or when requested by Technology Services Office.Ensure computer areas are clean, neat and orderly.Attend in-services and staff meetings as requested.Serve on Building Technology Committee and assist school staff regarding technology hardware/software purchases.Professional Development TrainerOther job related duties as assigned• Customer Service• Installation• Deployment• Windows OS• Macintosh OS• Technology Integration• Instructional Technology• Educational Technology• Remote Desktop• Active Directory• Printers: Advanced• Windows Server• Macintosh Server• Troubleshooting• FOG Management• Microsoft Office Suite• Google Apps• Mobile Devices• Professional Development• Web Design• Chrome OS
