Sustainability is an incredibly powerful buzzword. But as a product manufacturer, you can’t slap a few buzzwords on your product and continue on your merry way. That's where I come in.You need training, certifications, and paperwork! For the regular person, the word sustainability brings to mind images of a cleaner, greener planet and happier people and animals. But if you manufacture or distribute products you hope to sell in the A&D world you’re probably thinking that sustainability means… 🔹Another hoop to jump through 🔹More wondering if your product is going to be passed over🔹And dollars headed out the door instead of coming in. Lucky for you I’m a sustainability nerd.I love sustainability so much that in addition to working at the company I founded (my day job), consulting at the Wallcoverings Association (my contracting job), and my kids (my mom job) I also started ZeroLandfill Chicago, an award-winning, volunteer upcycling program that has helped to repurpose over a million pounds of specification samples since 2008. The rest of the time, I’m helping small organizations give the customers what they want: sustainability via ESG consulting, CEU development, MSAP certification, guidance through Sustainability Certifications, and a bunch of other things. Oh, and I’m really good at it. In 2015, I was granted the President’s Award from the Wallcoverings Association.🔹 For my efforts to create the NSF 342 online CEU training module🔹 For conducting training sessions at TecTrac🔹 And for presenting the CEU at NeoConI started in the A&D industry as a salesperson and moved on to manage training and sustainability for the largest wallcovering distributor in the country. 20+ years in the industry later and you know what? I still love it. I’ve combined the skills I’ve honed over the years with my passions for sustainability, storytelling, and training in a way that lets me communicate highly technical ideas to any audience and makes my audience excited to learn. Because of this, I managed, developed, trained, and launched dozens of CEUs into the contract marketplace nationwide. I mastered these skills working with ThinkLab, Interior Design Media, Metropolis Magazine, BIFMA, as well as large and small product manufacturers.Think this is just what you need?
