Some of the main activities and responsibilities:- create and maintain a holistic view of all Volvo Trucks active safety systems that have an interface towards the driver both digital and physical. - find synergies and new possibilities by combining technologies in novel ways.- designing and evaluating hardware and digital interfaces. Work done in collaboration with safety specialists, design engineers for hardware components, sound designers, function developers.- designing ADAS interfaces on roadmaps for ensuring Volvo's leading position.

Leading design of the all new digital environment of the 2020 Volvo FH, FH16, FM and FMX. With best in class interactions, information and interfaces the new generation is suitable for a multitude of persona needs and scenarios such as: Long haul driving, Regional distribution, Urban driving, Heavy Duty construction environments as well as a wide range of custom body builder applications. Some of the main activities and responsibilities:- conceptualizing and defining the overall structure of the platform- exploring technologies and defining HMI controls by working close with interior designers and component owners- presenting regularly concepts to large internal crowds (50+ people). Often holding other presentation sessions to key stakeholders- evaluating/discarding/refining concepts in fast paced loops- meeting drivers to understand / define needs- supporting / recommending hardware choices.- designing to last detail the instrument cluster user interface for all vehicle variants, interaction, drivability functionality and truck applications- exploring and defining the visual language- long-term working with Developers, HMI engineers and many other roles in cross functional setups. (SAFe). This gave me a good understanding of the development environment and the possibility to support developers when needed.- defining UX requirements for functionality provided by external suppliers.
