I’m Giuseppe La Rosa Chief Officer with twenty years of experience, I’m a person determined, motivated, resourceful, able to organize my job, independently and as a team. I have all the certificates required by international law, I’m in excellent physical, mental and medical. I currently hold the position of First Officer on passenger / ferry ships, since 2018 I have been engaged in the Baltic Sea and Russian territorial waters, where I have carried out ICE navigation. I have been directly involved in all areas related to maritime safety including, but not limited to: Navigation- Lifesaving & Firefighting- Deck/Maintenance- Trainings - Dry Dock I gained a profitable experience in the cruise industry where I practically carried out most of my career, from OOW to the position of Chief Officer (2016). My experience goes beyond the simple role of officer that I currently hold, I have taken with seriousness and dedication both the position of Deck Manager and Superintendent. I was the reference manager of compliance with all procedures and compliance with International Security Management (ISM), Classification Society Regulations (Rina), and Maritime Insurance, my role included, of course, also the briefing, the debriefing and the evaluation of Masters, Chief Engineers and other senior officers, at Calor Service SRL (shipowner). I firmly believe that the combination of my training and the different direct experiences I have carried out over all these years allow me to excel as a key figure on board cruise ships, of any size and anywhere in the world.
