I am carrying out the Verification and Validation activity of an embedded system written by RFI, in particular on the Kernel Vitale RFIOS software (Hard-Real Time system) released on various hardware platforms.In detail, I am carrying out the analysis of software requirements in order to create the appropriate unit test specifications, with a appropriate scripts in PRACTICE language in a real environment (thereby proceeding with the HW/SW integration) and the creation of a report to collect the results obtained and the specifications defined. I am carrying out the code coverage analysis activity, in particular Statement Coverage, Branch Coverage and MC/DC (Modified condition/decision coverage) with the creation of a document containing all the results obtained. At each release of V&V's activity, I has creating the SVTP (Software Validation Test Plan) documents containing the definition of the tests carried out and the expected results, the SVTR (Software Validation Test Report) documents containing the outcome of the test and the coverage analysis one for each module of the software system.The tools used for this activity are:- “Lauterbach TRACE32” modular tool, which allows debugging, testing and coverage for embedded projects;- “Source Insight” for code inspection;

I was responsible for carrying out the Software Verification and Validation activity (white box test) for on-board subsystems in the railway sector.In detail, i has carried out the analysis of the software requirements in order to create the appropriate test specifications, the execution of the latter in a simulated environment and the creation of a report to collect the results and the defined specifications.
