Scientific evaluator in the Digital Health Group

I work with the Well Completions team in the Analysis group. I provide data tracking and analysis for ongoing operations, including financial analysis for monthly and quarterly reporting, tracking of metrics and KPIs, and presentation of data for team decision making. I make of use Spotfire, Excel, VBA, SQL, and other tools to integrate data from a number of sources in order to provide timely and accurate analysis to team members both in the Well Completions group and other groups when needed.

Worked in a field and office role. Duties included writing programs for hydraulic fracturing operations, supervising field installation of liner systems, monitoring hydraulic fracturing operations, and analysis of project costs.

Worked on the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of the da Vinci surgical robotics system. Provided training for surgeons, nurses, and other operating room staff. Attended surgical procedures to provide clinical support and immediate troubleshooting.

Research and design of a Spectral Optical Coherence Tomography system for the Eye Institute at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI). System designed using infrared superluminescent diode and simple optics.

Reliability testing of Concenctrated Photovoltaic (CPV) cells. Compilation of all reliability data.

Programming of a graphical user interface in MATLAB to do image processing to generate content for 3D television. Worked in Advanced Video Systems division of the Communications Research Centre.

Equipment acquisition, antenna testing, Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordinance (HERO) testing, Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) calibration at the Quality Engineering Test Establishment.
