I am also responsible for seeing that the firm's overseas publications get required internal approvals, meet zero-defect standards and comply with our guidelines for publishing IP. I have engaged externsively with practice writers and editors to ensure exacting quality standards, as well as with local offices and their research teams, to refine content.

As the sole editor, I was entrusted with looking after Bain's content that was being published for the India market. I also looked at content being published globally. My responsibility involved checking facts and for language and ensuring zero defect.Wordsmithing and copyediting is par for the course. (Bain is published in the Harvard Business Review, Forbes, BusinessWeek, and top-tier dailies such as Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and, India, the Economic Times and Mint.)

Devised and lead an editorial quality training program for a team of twelve editors. Managed the workflow, ensuring editorial quality and healthy client interactions. Evalueserve is a KPO and our work was with a large bank and its analyst reports on stocks.

Led a team that produced Chandigarh Newsline, the city newspaper of Express. The work involved news selection, vetting articles, working on design and generating news ideas. Before this, I had joint responsibility for bringing out the Express from Chandigarh.

Authored three small postcard books on the Buddha, the Dalai Lamas, and the Kama Sutra.I worked on pictorial books, non-fiction titles (including a series on terrorism), and a few biographies. Was responsible for reading manuscripts and editing them. Also handled author-editor interactions, photo sourcing and caption writing.
