Involved in Site Reliability Engineering, supporting DevOps with development of tools for data collection and presentation. • Designed and developed a tool to process data in ElasticSearch from multiple playbooks, aggregated and massaged to fit the needs of DevOps and presented via GraphQL. This tool potentially helps DevOps to quickly pinpoint the source of an issue down to a specific service and instance among tens of thousands pods running, thereby reducing the troubleshooting time from hours to minutes. Involved in full cycle development of complex applications vital for routing and management of mobile phone calls. • Implemented SIP platform to route phone calls to own / vendor networks, based on calling / called numbers, and several network factors, projected to save millions annually by replacing vendor-supplied call routing engine. (Developed using combination of Java and Go language modules running on Kubernetes). • Designed and developed custom DNS server with integrated health monitor to check for and serve available partner networks with load balancing. This module was written in Go language as a scalable application, and can scale up to handle thousands of queries a second, eliminating the need to buy custom resolver from outside vendor, saving six-figure sum per year. • Designed RESTful APIs for integration of microservices with front-end layer and external tools / services, facilitating tight integration of various components in call routing platform where SIP engine interacted with resolvers and route providers. Written in Go language as multiple scalable modules, one for each microservice. • Significantly reduced runtime of several applications (40 minutes to less than 20 seconds) by studying and implementing reactive methods for Couchbase in less than one day.

Full cycle developer involved in developing complex applications for mobile phone call routing and management mostly using C++ on Tandem Nonstop. • Designed and implemented ENUM stack for handling NAPTR queries for call routing, simplifying call routing on legacy platform. • Designed and developed application to notify 911 operator of caller's GPS (or cell tower derived) location. • Launched application suite to calculate call routing tables daily based on multiple factors including cost, vendor quality and routing agreements. • Spearheaded Operator Services for Government Emergency Telecom Services (GETS) to enable emergency workers on field to get operator assistance for calls.
