Outline of the position:Provide assistance to the Chief Operating Officer of Private Banking in the day-to-day middle office operations of the department Project Management on the local regulatory requirement & Bank organizationProducts:HK-Listed Shares, Fixed Income, OTC Derivatives (FX, Equity, Commodity), Loans System Knowledge:SWIFTS, RTGS, CMU, PFETS, FPS, HKTR Key Responsibilities:-Participate in prioritizing of the projects according to the importance of development, productivity and regulatory changes; e.g. HKTR, RTGS, CMU, SWIFT, FPS- Provides overall coordination of cross-functional Projects supported by several Business Lines / Support Functions, to increase operational efficiency and processing time;- With the support of the Orga / Moa (Organization and Project Management ) of CAIS, plan and implements the project specifications (global) or contribute to its drafting (local);- Local relationship management with correspondent banks- Participate in system enhancement and ad hoc projects related to operations environment, internal control: e.g. credit workflow, Suitability control- Regulatory annual contingency: Bank BCP planning, EODNS, Special posting, PFES, etc-Reporting preparation:Private Banking survey,ALCO,HKTR,DPS

Products:Bond, Repurchase, Digital CI, Dual Currency CI, ECP, CD Issuer, CD Agency, QFii, Collateral, Custodian Fee arrangement, Cashflow, Withholding tax calculation. Region Responsible:Hong Kong, PRC, Taiwan, Seoul, Sydney, Bangkok, Singapore System Knowledge:STAR, KONDOR, Calypso, CMU, Clearstream, DTC, Fedwire Job descriptions:- Arrange for the New Structure Product and Bond Issuing- Liaise between Trader/ Sales and Counter party for booking and allocation confirmation.- Extract data between FO and BO for P&L calculation.- Open Account for new counter party and set up SSI.- Liaise with Due diligence team if Counter party have no KYC ready.- Reconcile position for books and monitor fails trades- Reconcile trades between FO and settlement system, solve the break and un-match data.- Handle clients issue like information changed, confirmation provision and trades follow up- Instrument Statistic update like MTM pricing - trade support of onshore regions for trade booking , P&L , withholding tax calculation. - As bond or CD allocator or issuer, communicate with legal and counter party and prepare legal and SFC requested documents.- Check and liaise with various departments and allocate custodian fee in appropriate accounts.- Assist in the processing of coupon interest payments and product cycle- Participate in user acceptance tests in various system enhancements

Treasury products responsible for:OTC options, Structure Note, ELN, Bond, Repurchase,IRS System Knowledge:RTGS, SWIFT, CMU, Clearstream, KTP, Kondor Job Descriptions:- To perform settlement functions in assigned products- Assist in the processing of coupon interest payments- Participate in user acceptance tests in various system enhancements- Prepare various management reports E.g. Cover call P&L report, monthly amortization report.
