Fulbright Scholar from Mexico, specializing in materials engineering with a passion for energy storage, currently developing innovative materials for batteries. In fall 2022 I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, specializing in metallurgy and welding. I was also honored to receive the prestigious Fulbright García-Robles Scholarship, which allowed me to pursue a Master's degree in the United States. Additionally, I have over two years of industry experience, encompassing failure analysis, heat treatment, and process improvement.During my studies, I held leadership positions in various student organizations, including serving as the president of the largest Material Advantage chapter in Latin America. Furthermore, I have researched enhancing the properties of magnetic pellets for Ternium and explored the biocompatibility of metallic glasses. Currently, my research focuses on developing novel materials for battery applications, with the aim of contributing to the development of cleaner and more sustainable energy solutionsMy technical expertise involves a wide range of skills, including metallurgy, heat treatment, failure analysis, material selection, and now, battery materials science. Additionally, I possess a strong foundation in research methodologies, such as data analysis, experimental design, interpretation of results, and effective communication of findings. Furthermore, I have gained valuable experience in leadership positions, which have honed my ability to manage teams, organize events, and inspire others. Throughout my professional journey, I have demonstrated a remarkable ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and multicultural teams, fostering an environment of open communication and mutual understanding.I aim to utilize my Fulbright Scholarship to deepen my knowledge and expertise in battery materials research. Moreover, I aspire to contribute to the advancement of sustainable and efficient energy storage technologies through innovative material design.
