I have been listed in Florida’s ‘Legal Elite’ (Top 2% of all lawyers in the state) and as a ‘Top Lawyer’ in the Tampa Bay area. My career has spanned multiple areas of civil trial and appellate practice. In the mid 90’s I began to focus on handling employment law cases and later expanded that to employee benefits and related cases. I have returned to a more general civil trial practice that includes but is broader than my “official” specialty. We provide unique value by role-playing the opposition in our trial simulations.I had the privilege of being an instructor at both the Florida Bar/Stetson Law School Employment Trial Skills Seminar and the Labor and Employment Law Board Certification Review Course. I have served on the boards of the Clearwater and Tampa Bay Federal Bar Associations. I served, by gubernatorial appointment, as Chair of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (responsible for the nomination of candidates for appointment as state court trial judges in the Tampa Bay area). I am an alumnus of Leadership Pinellas and have been active in the community and leading youth organizations.
