I am a co-founder at Public Alchemy - a digital consultancy specialising in creating data products. We provide education leaders with advanced data analytics to enable their teams to deliver long-lasting, impactful changes. We combine advanced data analytics with a human-centred approach to tangibly improve the outcomes for children and young people.I started my career at a management consultancy, where, I helped clients solve their biggest and most complex problems and implement change. In the consumer sector, I identified millions of pounds worth of savings in the stores and supply chains of some of the largest UK grocers and retailers. However, I found my true passion when I worked in the public sector on a nationwide programme in SEND transformation. The passion for data-led decision-making from SEND leaders inspired me to set up Public Alchemy, hoping to improve SEND data structure, visibility and use around the country.My passion outside of work is languages and I speak English, Russian and Spanish fluently. I love learning new languages and especially enjoy seeing how happy it makes people when I can speak to them in their native language rather than in English. As Nelson Mandela said: “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.”
