Architects of Life(AOL) is a social enterprise in Singapore that specialises in developing the human potential of youth at risk/ ex-offenders through outreach, developmental and intervention programmes. Our vision is to help transform them from stigmatised Stereotypes to societal Archetypes.The eX-Offenders For Good (XOFG) community & programme aims to help ex-offenders develop self confidence and Personal Mastery to overcome negative mindset and personal setbacks. 1. Designed and implemented new shopfloor layout to achieve a 35% increase in storage space and a 15% increase in productivity.2a. Introduced a visual inventory system and defined min-max inventory levels to support replenishment of seasonal and an ever-changing fruits inventory - Reducing the need to perpetually open the chillers2b. Introduced a visual tagging system to improve assignment of greeting cards and retrieval of gift boxes by at least 400%.3. Created a mobile app to support the operations team in tracking fruit spoilage, and forecast inventory needs for bulk orders.

Strategic Management - Led the senior management team in the annual management review meeting and identified key areas of growth for the business. Executed and managed the change applied across the organisation, with a focus on employee engagement throughout the process - Achieving 0 major conflicts and pushbacks from ground level staff.Lean - Commenced the organisation's lean journey through monthly sharing sessions on lean concepts, problem resolution tools, and other best practices for lean. Created the organisation's first depository on knowledge of lean, and its application.HR - Established the company's HR policy with input from stakeholders and implemented successfully. Digitalized HR processes and improved speed, flow, and visibility, for On/off-boarding, Leave Management, Salary Payment, and Claims processes.

Lean - Supported the site in continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and facilitated multiple Kaizen improvement projects. Facilitated monthly reporting of business performance metrics. Managed the site's employee suggestion scheme for improvement projects.Learning & Development - Designed training content to fit delivery of lessons for inhouse training participants. Designed hands on activities to better aid understanding of learning objectives. Managed learning and development progress for the employees to achieve their ACE Associates Certification and to have a fundamental understanding of the UTC ACE Operating System. Official P&W trainer for the ACE Associates Superday program.

Supported the logistics department by performing receiving and issuing operations to deliver components to engine assembly lines. Actively participated in continuous improvement events to improve productivity of department. Managed the transfer of inventory into vertical storage unit to ensure efficient flow of picking and receiving process. (2013 - 2015)Additionally supported the P&WC Mobile Repair Team(MRT) to strategically procure components required on AOG basis. Coordinated to ensure all components required for ad hoc jobs are secured in time for job commencement. (2014 - 2015)Joined the P&WC main procurement team to manage component purchase for engine assembly operations and MRT requirements. Designed methodology to achieve record completion time for engine overhaul spares requirement analysis. Reviewed inventory ROP/ROL to achieve lean supply towards operations requirements while achieve annual inventory-turn targets. (2016 - 2017)
